Materials Needed: Note Paper & Pen, Water of choice and Music that represents the personal preferences ofAttendee.
Description: This interactive 24.5 contact hour course of instruction responds to the following subjects:
1.The Spirit / Mind /Body Connection 2.The Historical Perspective 3.Findings of the Experts 4.Research & Development 5.Music Medicine 6.Balance & Lifestyle 7.Defining The Demon - Stress 8.The Effects of Stress on the Physiology 9.Comprehending the Impact of Music on the Physiology 10.Intent – It's Definition and Role 11.The Acoustical Furnishing 12.The Use of Various Types of Music 13.Incorporating VAM Into Your Practice 14.The Hands On Practical Application of VAM
Learning Outcome: At the end of this course, the attendee will have completed the essential components pertaining to the application of the Vibrational Attunement Massage technique. Learning Objectives: Upon completion of lecture, demonstration, testing and hands on components, attendees will have:
1) A greater understanding of the effect of Accumulated Emotionally Reactive Stress on the physiology.
2) The ability to define the role music can play in the relief of accumulated stress.
3) An understanding of the value of proper music selection.
4) Training in the use of and the effects derived from the use of the Acoustical treatment furnishings.
5) Enhanced ability to effectively apply and integrate this modality into their practice.
Attendance Policy: In order to receive a Certificate of Achievement, participants must attend all instructional sessions and return from breaks and lunch on time.
Requirements for a Certificate: Participants will earn a Certificate of Achievement at conclusion of the course, when they have demonstrated competency in all areas presented as determined by the instructor. This course has lecture, demonstraton and hands on components.
NOTE: Part One of the course is a pre-requisite to attending Part Two and Part Two must be completed within 90 days of completing Part One to receive credit for attending Part One. This three day course presentation is normally scheduled quarterly and is dependent on demand.
